In the minds of many, Cadaques is forever associated with its most famous resident, Salvador Dali. However, Cadaques was already popular with artists even before the emergence of Dali, and it continues to be a village which lives and breathes art in all its form. Walk through the narrow streets of the older areas around the church, or behind the beach at Es Poal, and you'll discover the galleries and studios of the many artists who still live, work and find inspiration here.
